Sling 2SK: features, application

Load-handling devices are used to carry out loading and unloading of various types of objects. Among them there are removable structures made of steel ropes. One of the varieties is two-strand slings.

Application

Sling 2sk is used for hanging loads on hooks or other working parts of forklifts. These devices can be used to move large objects, as well as those that have non-standard shapes. At the same time, the 2sk sling can act as an independent load-lifting device, or as part of a load-handling structure for working with certain types of objects.

Sling 2sk is used in any field of activity. Such lifting devices meet all technical requirements, including:

As before, in the current 2021, manufacturers produce 2SK slings taking into account the characteristics of loads and angles of inclination of branches.

Design

The design of the 2SK sling consists of two sections of steel rope, which are united by a common link. Manufacturers complete such slings with hooks, loops, staples and loops with a thimble.

Prices for 2SK slings in 2021 are determined depending on the product configuration.

Peculiarities

When using double-strand slings, some features must be taken into account. 2SK slings come in two types:

with a metal core;

with an organic core.

In the first case, the slings can be used at temperatures up to +150C, in the second - no more than +100C.

The angle between the branches of the slings should not exceed 90. Otherwise, the load-carrying capacity of the device is reduced. You cannot use 2SK slings at temperatures above +400C.

Documentation

All 2SK slings have a passport. This document contains all technical information about the device. The passport must be kept by the buyer until the slings are written off. Each sling is marked with a metal tag, which indicates: product type, load capacity, test date.

When purchasing 2SK slings in a batch with the condition that all products have the same characteristics, it is allowed to issue one passport for the entire batch. In this case, the document must indicate the number of slings in the batch.
