The four-strand rope 4SK (rope spider)
is often simply called the rope spider because it consists of four ropes with hooks attached to a load-bearing oval link that can be applied to a crane or other lifting device. The 4SK rope is made exclusively by crimping the ropes with an aluminum sleeve. Components for the production of 4SK are used according to the G80 standards (8th strength class) and GOST 25573-80. This rope is used when the lifted cargo has special places for hook attachment. The cost of the 4SK rope depends on the load capacity and length of the product, but it will be much cheaper than chain analogs.
APPLICATION OF 4SK ROPE TYPES:
- Industrial use: 4SK ropes are used for lifting and moving heavy loads in industrial facilities, warehouses, construction sites, and cargo transportation.
- Construction: In construction, 4SK ropes are used for lifting and installing building materials, heavy structures, and equipment on construction sites.
- Maritime sector: In maritime industries, 4SK ropes are used for lifting and moving cargo in ports, shipyards, and vessels.
- Oil and gas industry: They are also used for lifting and installing equipment in drilling, oil and gas extraction, and transportation.
- Energy sector: They are used in the production of electricity, for example, in the installation and maintenance of high-voltage transmission lines and equipment at power plants.
ADVANTAGES OF FOUR-STRAND 4SK ROPE:
- Strength: The 4SK rope has high strength, making it ideal for lifting heavy loads and performing tasks requiring high loads.
- Wear resistance: It has high wear resistance and maintains its qualities for a long time even with intensive use.
- Ropes gradually deteriorate, allowing the detection of wear at an early stage and replacement of products.
- Reliability and safety: This type of rope provides a high level of reliability and safety when working with loads due to its strength and durability.
- Wide range of applications: The 4SK rope finds application in various industries, including construction, maritime industries, cargo handling equipment, and other areas requiring a reliable and strong lifting means.
