Tubular traverses are produced whole or collapsible. In a collapsible traverse, with the same level of load capacity, it is possible to change the length of the device, depending on the dimensions of the load.

T-shaped traverses are designed for moving cargo with a shifted center of gravity. The design includes an adjustable link that reduces the load on the other links of the device.

These are the main types of traverses. There are modifications of each type, for example, linear traverses with stretchers have been developed. Special elements add stiffness and strength to the entire device.
